Polk County Gun Club 2012 High Power Rifle (Tryon, NC)

The Polk County Gun Club 2012 matches were held on: April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, September 15, October 20.

On a 300 yard range with 20 firing points, competition was open to everyone. Entry fee was $20.00 which includes the NRA fee. All NRA high power rules applied.  National Match Course of Fire

General match process:

There will be a 10 minute sighting in period beginning at 9:30 AM with the match following afterwards.
The course of fire will be as follows:
20 rounds standing slow fire at 200 yards 20 minutes
20 rounds rapid fire sitting/kneeling at 200 yards in 60 seconds per 10 round string
20 rounds rapid fire prone at 300 yards in 70 seconds per 10 round string
20 rounds slow fire prone at 300 yards using reduced targets for 600 yards in 20 minutes.

Directions:
(From the North and West) Interstate I-26 E to Exit 1 in South Carolina (Hwy 14)
Turn NE (left), 3.5 miles to Little Mountain Rd, turn left (NW) 0.8 miles
Polk County Gun Club is on the right (look for red flag, red sign and red gate).

(From the East) US74 W to Exit 167 (Hwy 9) turn left (SE) 3.2 miles to Hwy 14 (Landrum Rd.) turn right (SW) 2.4 miles to Little Mountain Road turn right (NW) 0.8 miles PCGC is on your right (look for red flag, red sign and red gate).

Piedmont-Traid Open Air Rifle Match: CMP Cup w/ EIC points

May 19, 2012, the Lexington Senior High School JROTC Rifle Team sponsored  a match for Sporter and Air Rifle equipment classes at their high school at a 26 Penry Street, Lexington, NC, 2792.  Entry fees were $15 per individual or $60 per 4 member team.

The match was open to all individuals, and all shooting clubs, JROTC Units etc.  All participants must have a CMP #.

Durham Pistol & Rifle Club 2012 Bullseye Match Schedule

NRA Bullseye 2700 Matches: Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20 (3rd Sundays) at DPRC, Haw River, NC.

NC State Games: June 17, 2012

(No July Match due to the National Championships being held at Camp Perry.)

NRA Bullseye 2700 Matches continue: August 19, September 16.

DPRC Club Championship Bullseye Match: October 21.
