The first high power match of the year had 16 shooters and was a success. The first round was down range at 0940 and the last one at 1300. The weather was great in the 60s and 70s with no to little wind. We had a perfect score of 100-3X on the 300 yard rapid fire by Barry Postell. There is a picture of his target. With the turn out, we had 3 classes to give prizes too.

The overall winner was master Barry Postell with a 477-12X from Gastonia, 2nd master class was Clarence Voyles with a 468-9X from Bessmer City. First Sharpshooter was Daniel Voyles with a 427-4xX fron Bessmer City, 2nd was Richard Wade with a 412-3X from Mills River. 1st Marksman was John Wolfe with a 448-4x from Cloumbus and 2nd was Kimsey Edwards with a 433-3X.
